Filmmaker Prabhakar Shukla, who is directing a film based on the life of Gudiya, who hogged media headlines last year when her Prisoner of War (Pow) husband returned to re-marry her, will re-shoot certain sequences following her death on Monday night.

Shukla told UNI that 'Gudiya' was almost complete and he had to shoot the climax scene involving the panchayat which had ruled that she should go back to her first husband. The climax sequences were to be shot in the last week of January.

Shukla had planned a March release for his film. "I had already spoken to Gudiya about the film I was making and she had agreed to come down to Mumbai for the release," he said.

The theme song has been sung by Jagjit Singh while the music has been composed by Vivek Prakash. The script of 'Gudiya' has been penned by Ashok Humrahi and Prabhakar Shukla, himself.
